Plug and Play Selects SVT Robotics for Innovation Program in Supply Chain and Logistics
Plug and Play NW Arkansas’s Batch 2 Supply Chain and Logistics Program will connect SVT with corporate partners to define future of automated solutions
NORFOLK, VA – SVT Robotics, a startup whose software platform accelerates and simplifies the deployment of industrial robotics, has been chosen by Plug and Play Northwest Arkansas as one of 13 startups selected for their Batch 2 Supply Chain and Logistics Program.
Designed to connect innovative startups with Plug and Play Northwest Arkansas’ corporate partners, the Batch 2 program provides a platform for new relationships and pilot opportunities, corporate and industry expert mentors, and potential funding from Plug and Play Ventures.
"We are thrilled to welcome SVT Robotics into our Northwest Arkansas’ Supply Chain and Logistics second batch program with Plug and Play," said Greg Kessman, Plug and Play Northwest Arkansas Director. "SVT Robotics’ game-changing software has the potential to disrupt the landscape of robotics connectivity in logistics and supply chain management."
The SVT Robotics software platform gives companies the ability to rapidly connect their enterprise systems to any robot or automation, in a fraction of the time. As companies look for ways to accelerate robot deployment to keep up with the supply chain demands of the pandemic, SVT provides the missing piece to quickly bridge robotic hardware and business systems, and the flexibility that supply chains need now more than ever.
“We’re very excited to be selected into Plug & Play’s Northwest Arkansas Supply Chain and Logistics program,” said A.K. Schultz, Co-founder and CEO of SVT Robotics. “This program gives SVT Robotics the opportunity to work with leading users of automation including Walmart, Tyson Foods, J.B. Hunt, Georgia Pacific, and Crowley Maritime to define the future of optimized, automated solutions.”
The three-month Batch 2 Supply Chain and Logistics Program is structured around numerous workshops and networking, with a focus on their corporate partners.
Schultz noted that the program “is an optimal use case for the SVT Robotics platform to provide no-code integrations for leading automation users,” incorporating both start-up automation providers and proven suppliers such as Grenzebach, Fetch, RightHand Robotics, Blue Yonder and more.
At Plug and Play’s Fall Summit in August, SVT Robotics will showcase its platform to investors, entrepreneurs, corporations, and future-thinking industry leaders seeking revolutionary new ways to accelerate supply chain innovation.
